Facility Management

The word Facility is used to indicate physical entities like a Hospital, a Lab, or any other entity relevant to healthcare. In times of a pandemic, etc. administrative offices are set up like an Ambulance control room or an Oxygen Monitoring station, etc. Such entities are also treated as a ‘Facility’ as it enables healthcare delivery and a party to delivering healthcare. A facility in this definition does not include the people (doctors/nurses/staff) or the equipment, beds, etc.
