User Management

Users are entities that have login access to the CARE system. CARE allows the creation of users based on

  1. Role-based access control (RBAC)- These access levels are various accesses and permissions granted to various actors like Administrative staff, Nurses, Doctors, etc. The access permissions are based on the actual role of the user in the process of treating a patient.

  2. Access control based on geographies where the user serves- These access controls limit the access of users based on their area/scope of operation. An administrator, nurse, or doctor can only access information pertaining to their hospital while an administrator at the Panchayat Level (like a Medical Officer) can access data from the Panchayat, Similarly, a district level/ state level administrator can access data from the district and state respectively.

The user management module registers users and also allows for functions like transferring staff etc.
