Hospital Server

The hospital server is the central server that collects all the data streams across the spoke devices of the TeleICU system and sends them to the CARE cloud server. The TeleICU hub (that is linked to the spoke) then accesses the data streams to be able to see the patient details at the hub, in order to facilitate the consultation of the specialist at the TeleICU hub with the doctor or patient at the spoke hospital.

DDNS

With the absence of a Static IP at each Hospital, CARE uses Dynamic Tunnels that allow assigning hostnames to the remote/local servers in the hospital.

Middleware

The middleware server at the hospital server receives data from the different devices and allows storing time-series data feasible.

Real-Time Communication

The Hospital Server uses Web Sockets to enable real-time communication with CARE users. Vitals and Video Feed are transmitted with negligible delay.
